Blujem™ — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Blujem™ ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Blujem™ mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Information We Collect

Blujem™ is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:

Gamer Name: You choose a display name when you first play. This name is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit it to any server.
Game Data: Your scores, levels, streaks, settings, and game history are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device.
No Account Required: Blujem™ does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, phone number, or any personal information.

Analytics

Blujem™ uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics. This helps us understand how players interact with the App so we can improve the experience. Analytics data includes:

Game sessions (start, end, duration)
Game mode played (Classic or Daily)
Scores and completion data
Feature usage (e.g., which buttons are tapped)
Device type and operating system version

This data is collected anonymously and is not linked to your identity. We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information through analytics. For more information, visit: PostHog Privacy Policy

Crash Reporting

Blujem™ uses Sentry to collect crash reports and performance data. This helps us identify and fix bugs quickly. Crash data may include:

Device type, operating system version, and app version
Error messages and stack traces
Performance metrics (app launch time, screen load times)

Advertising

Blujem™ displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information for ad personalization, including:

Device identifiers (advertising ID)
IP address
General location (city-level, not precise)
App usage data

Blujem™ also uses Unity Ads as a mediation partner served through Google AdMob. When Google's Mobile Ads SDK routes an ad request through the Unity adapter, Unity may receive the same categories of information listed above (device identifiers, IP address, general location, and ad interaction data) in order to select, deliver, and measure the ad. Your consent choice from the first-launch consent form is forwarded to Unity Ads and any other mediation partner that reads the IAB TCF v2 consent signal.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. You can also purchase "Remove Ads" within the App to disable all advertising.

Game Center

Blujem™ integrates with Apple Game Center for leaderboards. If you are signed into Game Center on your device, your scores may be submitted to Game Center leaderboards. Game Center uses your Apple ID and Game Center profile, which is managed by Apple. We do not collect or store your Game Center identity. For more information, visit: Apple's Privacy Policy

In-App Purchases

Blujem™ offers an optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store). We do not collect or store any payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.

Data Storage

All game data (scores, settings, preferences, game history) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers or databases that store your personal game data. Anonymous analytics and crash data are processed by our third-party providers (PostHog and Sentry) as described above.

Retention periods:

Local device data (gamer name, scores, settings, history): retained until you uninstall the App or clear its local storage.
Analytics data processed by PostHog: retained per PostHog's published data-retention policy (typically 3 to 12 months depending on event type).
Crash data processed by Sentry: retained per Sentry's published data-retention policy (typically 30 to 90 days on standard plans).
Ad-related data handled by Google AdMob and Unity Ads: retained per each provider's published data-retention policy.

We do not control how long our third-party providers retain the data they receive. You can exercise the rights described below to request deletion.

Children's Privacy

Blujem™ is suitable for all ages (rated 4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Analytics and crash data are collected anonymously and are not linked to any individual user's identity.

Third-Party Services

Blujem™ uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements. Privacy Policy

PostHog: For anonymous usage analytics. Privacy Policy
Sentry: For crash reporting and performance monitoring. Privacy Policy

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. The only data shared with third parties is anonymous analytics data (PostHog), anonymous crash reports (Sentry), advertising data (AdMob and Unity Ads), and leaderboard scores (Game Center) as described above.

Your Rights

Because most Blujem™ data stays on your device, you have direct control:

Delete all data: Uninstall the App to remove everything stored locally.
Reset progress: Use the "Reset Tutorial" option in Settings, or uninstall and reinstall.
Opt out of personalized ads: Purchase "Remove Ads" or disable personalized advertising in your device's privacy settings.
Withdraw or change ad consent (EEA / UK / regulated US states): The consent choice shown on first launch can be reset by reinstalling the App.

The rights below apply to the data our third-party providers (PostHog, Sentry, Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Apple Game Center) process on our behalf. To exercise any of them, email blujemgame@gmail.com with your request and enough information for us to identify the record (approximate dates of use, device model, region). We will respond within 30 days.

Your Rights Under the GDPR (European Economic Area, UK, Switzerland)

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR:

Right of access (Art. 15) — to know what personal data is processed about you.
Right to rectification (Art. 16) — to have inaccurate data corrected.
Right to erasure / "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17) — to have your data deleted.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18) — to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
Right to data portability (Art. 20) — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to object (Art. 21) — to object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)) — to withdraw consent for ad personalization at any time without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77) — in the EEA Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or alleged infringement (UK: the Information Commissioner's Office).

The lawful bases we rely on are consent (for personalized advertising in the EEA and UK, via the first-launch consent form) and legitimate interest (for anonymous analytics and crash reporting necessary to operate and improve the App).

Your Rights Under the CCPA / CPRA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

Right to know — what categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
Right to delete personal information we have collected about you.
Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of the above.

Categories of personal information collected in the past 12 months: device identifiers (advertising ID / IDFA), IP address, general location (city-level), device type and operating system version, app usage events, and crash diagnostics.

Categories of third parties with whom we share that information: our analytics, crash-reporting, and advertising providers listed above (Google AdMob, Unity Ads, PostHog, Sentry, Apple Game Center).

We do not sell your personal information for money. We also do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CPRA, other than the ad-related signals that flow to our ad networks for ad personalization — which you can opt out of at any time through the first-launch consent flow or your device's privacy settings.

To submit a verifiable consumer request, email blujemgame@gmail.com. An authorized agent may submit requests on your behalf if you provide signed authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
